I am originally from Japan and have been living in Hawaii since 2009. As a floral artist and flower lover, being in Hawaii surely inspires me with my acrylic paintings. The brilliant colors, universe-like cores, gorgeous layers of petals, and characteristic and harmonious patterns of tropical flowers, and soothing beauty when they rustle in the breeze…. All of these features make the exotic flowers perfect art works effortlessly just as they are. What I love to do and try to do is to interpret those features on the canvases.
