Harp Transplant

Harp Transplant, a performance-talk with transplanted and weathered harp, inspired by Annea Lockwood's Piano Transplants (1960s-70s), is part of a research project entitled Instruments of Repair, funded by the Crafoord Foundation at Linnaeus University in Sweden. The project explores how "re-natured" (burning, drowning, or decaying) instruments can inspire more ecologically embedded listening and responsive sound-making.
